The beautiful park area outside the entrance to the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida is often overlooked in the rush to see the animals. As a plein air artist you have the time to wander and find an interesting place to paint. Our plein air painting group met to find inspiration with the sunrise. This painting is located along the stream that runs behind the shell bandstand. The stream glistens as the morning sun rises, illuminating the ferns, cypress and oaks along its banks.
