The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This orchid spray was commissioned after the client saw the other orchid painting. Not wanting to make an exact reproduction there a subtle differences between the two paintings. Also the client wanted a brown background instead of the original green.
About Joan Garcia
